This is one of the recipes my husband insisted I get from my mother-in-law June. These cookies have become a family favorite. My sister insists that I make them for her when she visits.
No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cube butter
3 Tbs. cocoa or 2 semi-sweet chocolate squares
Mix together in sauce pan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Add:
1/2 cup peanut butter
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Mix well and quickly. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to cool and set up.

A quick famlily fact: My dad has another name for these cookies...Gorilla Poop. If you know my dad this is no surprise.
I MAKE THESE SO MUCH THAT WE GO THROUGH OATMEAL LIKE CRAZY!~ YOUR AUNT KARENWILL NOT MAKE THEM UNLESS SHE HAS COCONUT TO PUT IN THEM. I SOMETIMES MAKE THEM WITH PEANUT BUTTER ONLY. ONE TIME A MADE A BATCH OF CHOCOLATE AND A BATCH OF PEANUT BUTTER AND PIT A DAB OF PEANUT BUTTER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHOCOLATE ONES...IT WAS GOOD~!
