Menu Plan Monday

We had quite the storm last night.  The girls always can't sleep through the storm, so unfortunately I don't either.  Every time I would drift off someone would poke me.  The worst of it all is when the power went out I believe it fried the computer monitor (it was old and dying).  Not a good thing for me.  Luckily my hubby has a laptop so atleast I can post.  The bad thing, no pictures and I am laptop challenged!!  I am praying it is not the whole computer that is fried.....for I procratinated backing up my pictures for the last month.  YIKES!  I guess this panic moment will teach me a lesson.
Saturday night was the Young Women General Broadcast and as a stake we always host a dinner before.  We served haystacks and it was a hit!  We (4 of us) cooked 20 pounds of rice and there was none leftover.   Somehow though I came home with a gallon of the chicken gravy!  I guess that is what I get for saying I would take a LITTLE bit.  So you can probably guess what my family is eating this week....

This Week's Menu
Monday: Haystacks
Tuesday: Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf
Wednesday: Chicken Bundles
Thursday: Picnic
Friday: Caesar Chicken Pasta
Saturday: Dad cooks (which means we eat out)
Sunday:  Easter Dinner (I need to plan that out!)
Recipe coming up this week:
Mud Hen Bars
What good things are you cooking this week?

  1. I hate computer problems! I'm on the laptop as well, because AJ clicked on a pop up 3 weeks ago and infected our computer with a nasty virus (needless to say it crashed). It is still in the "shop". Nate Stewart got married Saturday. It was a darling reception. They filled trifle bowls with swedish fish and m&ms, then served bar cookies, dipped pretzels, and strawberries. They served Stewart soda for beverages. I need to take notes for future reference(perish the thought).

  2. Oh Yummy! Your plan sounds wonderful. Save a place for me at your table!! Now that I'm cooking for only one, my meals are very simple, and I don't plan as much as I used to. I normally cook a lot on the weekend and freeze for dinner during the week. It saves me a lot of time for things I would rather do. ♥

  3. Sorry about the computer. Thanks for the reminder to back up everything. I'm horrible about taking care of that. Mister Linky is up for this week's Crock Pot Wednesday. I thought we might get an early start before the holiday weekend. There's a giveaway going on as well. Come on over!
