Mexican Chocolate Crunch Brownies & A Giveaway!!

I cannot believe it is April already.  Where does time go??  Since April 11 is my Mom's birthday and she is my inspiration, my greatest fan, an amazing cook and the BEST mom ever,  I decided to do a giveaway in honor of her! At the store I saw this magazine on the rack and it really caught my eye.
I thought it was PERFECT for this occasion.  It has alot of wonderfully delicious looking recipes in it.
Here is one example:
Mexican Chocolate Crunch Brownies
Adapted from The Pillsbury Bake Off  Prize Winning Recipes
1 (12.8 oz.) box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal (about 8 cups)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 Tablespoon corn syrup
1 box brownie mix
(egg, oil and water measurements according to mix directions)
1 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a 9 x 13 in pan.  Place cereal in a food processor, cover and process until it is finely crushed.  Or place cereal in a large resealable bag; crush with a rolling pin.
In a large bowl stir butter and corn syrup together.  Add crushed cereal and mix thorougly.  Press evenly in the pan.
In a large bowl make brownie mix according to the directions on the box .  Stir in 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Pour brownie batter over cereal mixture.  Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Bake 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle it evenly over the top of the bownies.
Bake 14-18 more minutes longer or until brownies are set when lightly touched in center.
Cool 10 minutes; loosen the edges but do not cut.  Cool completely, about 2 hours.
Cut and enjoy!
These were a hit! They remind me of fried ice cream.  The cereal adds a great texture and taste.  Everyone liked them.  I gave some to a friend a she called just to say how good they were.
So here's the deal:
