When I saw this recipe I just knew it had to be made. I found it in the Taste of Home Magazine April/May issue of this year. I changed it up using grilled chicken, homemade alfredo and pizza crust. One word: DELICIOUS!! It was a little work but so worth it. My family ate the whole thing before morning. Hubby and son had seconds later that night. This is my new found favorite. I can't wait to make it for my family next time they visit!! Save your calories and splurge on this one....it is that good!!!
Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza
adapted from Taste of Home
1 recipe Pizza Dough (or use 2 refrigerated ones)
Roll dough out onto a cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
1 cup alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded swiss cheese
1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups cooked chicken, diced (grilled, breaded or what you prefer)
1 1/2 cups ham, cooked and cubed
Spread the alfredo sauce over the cooked pizza crust.
Sprinkle with the swiss cheese
Top with chicken and ham.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
YUM!! This makes me want to make it again. Enjoy!!!

Oh, yummy! Andy will flip over this one!
ReplyDeleteMy husband would love this! I'll have to make it when we have company since I don't care for alredo sauce. But he likes it and usually only gets to enjoy it if we go out to dinner, since I never make it.
