We are Going on a Picnic.....

Since July is Picnic Month, Louise is hosting a Online Picnic over at Months of Edible Celebrations.

It looked so fun, I decided to join in!

So here it goes:

We are going on a picnic and we are bringing:

A - Almond Joy Pie

B - Baked Beans

C - Chocolate Picnic Cake

D - Dutch Funnel Cake

E - Easy Blender Chicken Pie

F - Five Bean Salad

G - Granola Bars

H - Herb and Cheese Pasta Salad

I - Incredibly Fruity Raspberry Cakes

J - Jeweled Picnic Bars

K -Kaltschale (Cold Fruit Soup) L - Long Island Lemonade

M - Mushroom Tart

N - Nut Roast

O - Olive Nut Bread

P- Pomegranate Mousse Cake Q -Quiche

R - Raspberry Chocolate Macarons

S - Spicy Glazed Shrimp and Veggie Kabobs

T - Turkey and Pear Wraps with Curried Aioli

U -"Unoriginal Whole Foods Salad Bar" V- Vegetable Things of Spring Salad . . Veal Shank with Risotto . .and Viennese Chocolate-Cherry Torte.

White Caramel Popcorn

Warning:This recipe makes a huge batch.

Pop a LARGE bowl of popcorn. I use two bowls. It makes it easier to stir and lets me get all the unpopped kernels out of it. Then when mixed I put it all in one bowl.

1 lb butter
2 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
2 tsp vanilla
Place ingredients in a saucepan. Melt on med-high temperature. Stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and boil for 30 seconds. Pour over popcorn and stir to coat.
