Snickers Salad

Quite a few years ago my brother went to a luncheon and came home bragging about this salad he had eaten.  My mom & I grilled him on the ingredients and after a few tries got it to where we not only liked it, but LOVED it.  This is a family favorite and is requested for all major dinners.

Snickers Salad
1 - 8 oz. container whipped topping
1 - 3 oz package instant vanilla pudding (french vanilla is so good!)
3-4 apples
3 regular sized Snickers bars
2 cups of milk
miniature marshmellows (about 2 cups)
Core and chop up apples and candy bars.
Mix pudding mix and milk together until smooth. Add apples and candy bars. Fold in the whipped topping and add the desired amount of marshmellows. Serve.
YUM!!

  3. This is a family favorite for my husbands family. They don't use the pudding or milk, only the whipped topping. I've always teased him that it's a dessert not a salad.

  4. I've made something like this before but I used other fruits too. I remember the first time having it, thinking it was just fruit salad and being pleasantly surprised by the snickers bar in there. Who wouldn't! :-)
