Garlic Cheese Biscuits
2 cups buttermilk baking mix
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
Mix the baking mix, milk and cheese together until a soft dough forms. Let dough sit for about 5 minutes. *This is the trick!! Drop dough by spoonfuls (I used a large cookie scoop) on to a greased cookie sheet.
Bake aat 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
Mix the butter, garlic powder and parsley together.
Brush butter mixture over the hot biscuits.
Makes about 12 biscuits.

ReplyDeleteWow that looks yummy. I have a recipe like it without the biscuit mix.
ReplyDeleteI have been cooking crazy this week too, though out of boredom. Sunday Pumpkin choc chip cookies, Monday choc chip coconut, peanut butter, and oatmeal. Today I made peanut butter fingers and peanut better cookies. Those were to thank the neighbors for blading the driveway. The peanut butter fingers are to take to James' house as we are goiong to Utah tomorrow for Ali's wedding. Love ya, Rhonda
