Oatmeal Cookie Cheesecake Bars

These bars are so rich and delicious! The added touch of peanut butter and chocolate makes it flavor packed.  They seem to get better with age!!
Oatmeal Cookie Cheesecake Bars
1 package oatmeal cookie mix (17.5 oz)
1 -8oz. package cream cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup almonds or peanuts
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Make cookie dough as directed on package.  Press into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes, just until it turns light golden brown.
Beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla until well blended.  Spread overtop of cookie bottom.
Sprinkle with peanut butter chips and nuts.
Bake 15-18 minutes until the center is set.
Let cool for 15 minutes. Melt milk chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon oil in the microwave until smooth.  Drizzle over the top of the bars.( I melted mine in a ziplock bag, cut the corn off and it made the drizzle
 and clean up easy.) Refrigerate.
YUM!!

  4. Tiffanee...this is such a great idea.
I just thought of sending this post to my community center head cook...she'll probably want to incorporate this easy and fun dessert for the kids. Saturday morning is what they look forward to the most...they learn a new dessert to bring home.

Thanks for sharing your ease in the kitchen ;o)

    Ciao for now,
    Claudia
