I love the Christmas season, but why can I never seem to just slow down and enjoy it?? Right now, I just want a day at home with nothing planned...how bad is that!! In my attempt to try to reduce the stress in my life the meals this week are pretty simple.
Menu Plan Monday
Monday: Fettuccine Alfredo & BreadsticksTuesday: Fish Tacos
Wednesday: Chili & Corn Bread
Thursday: Pizza Pasta & Garlic Bread
Friday: Brother in law's play/out to eat. (He has the lead in The Sound of Music)
Saturday: Cheesy Potato Dish for ward Christmas Party
Sunday: Fried Rice & Egg Rolls
Hopefully, I will get some holiday baking done this week.
So how do you reduce the stress of the Christmas Season??
The menu is a great way to de-stress meal time! I should give it a try :) Although I'm behind on my shopping, my baking is done!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll just come over to your house this week. Your menu sounds way better than mine!
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you plan the meals ahead. I don't usually do the mealplan...even sometimes I did, very likely I changed the plan at the very last minute.
ReplyDeleteFish taco and cheesy potatoes sound really great to me.
Don't you love the crazy Holiday season! Tried and true and always best!
ReplyDeleteI am going to cook your Honey Chicken this week. Do you like corn pudding if so I have a wonderful recipe. I loved looking at all your recipes and look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteTifanee, these sound yummy, but be sure to include some cut up vegetables (dip in ranch dressing?) for crunch and healthiness. Remember, eat more leaves!
